Sir Arthur Whitten Brown who was the navigator of the first transatlantic flight piloted by Sir John Alcock from Newfoundland to Ireland in 1919. Sir Arthur lived, worked and died in Swansea and was the founder of 215 Air Training Corps Swansea.
