Annual Reports

Scope and Content

The annual reports are divided into two sub-series: case-bound copies, 1899-1954 (WSM/2/1); and individual, unbound annual reports, 1909-2000 (WSM/2/2). Annual Reports were distributed to all members and were compiled to present an overview of the Mission's activities and financial status. Typically the reports include: the Chairman's review; a summary of the Mission's work and welfare provision during the year; photographs; commentaries from the Ladies Committee and Sunday School Committee; an auditor's report; an alphabetical list of all subscriptions and donations (monetary or in kind); and an analysis of the Mission's receipts and expenditure.
