Contains the draft typescripts and other related material of several of Joan Lingard's children's books. The typescripts have all been annotated with changes to the text, some more so than others. The vast majority of annotations have been added by Joan Lingard, although a few are in a different hand, presumably that of an editor. Included within the series are typescripts of TV adaptations of Lingard's books, as well as related material such as some illustration proofs and accompanying background notes by Joan Lingard. The material within this series has been arranged to reflect the order in which the books were eventually published. Most of the material within the series is undated.
