This collections contains the draft typescripts of several of Joan Lingard's children's books, as well as related material such as background notes, and some correspondence relating to Lingard's early works 'The Twelfth Day of July' and 'Across The Barricades' (the typescripts of these novels are not included within the collection). Also included are printed books donated with the archival material, many of which are signed first editions.
