Thanking her for her letter of sympathy after Lady Carlisle's death. Her letter had come to her in Geneva 'listening with all my ears and such mind as I had to the debates' She had been thinking about the Association and is not yet clear in her own mind what is best to do but perhaps will be when she has talked to her colleagues in Newcastle.
