Translation by Dr Alexander Müller (of Davy-Faraday Laboratory), of paper by Walter Heitler and Fritz London: A Quantum-Mechanics explanation of the relations of neutral atoms and of homopolar bonds. Originally published in Zeitschrift für Physik, 44 (1927) p.455. This formed the basis of a series of seminars Iball gave to the workers at the Davy-Faraday Laboratory, 1932-1933; duplicated manuscript.
