Scope and Content

Papers relating to the relocation of Trinity College of Music.

Administrative / Biographical History

From the 1970s the college sought to relocate from their premises on Mandeville Place in Marylebone, London. This was motivated by concerns over inadequate facilities and the eventual expiry of the property lease. Multiple options were explored, both in London and further afield, before the college finally relocated to King Charles Court at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, in 2001.
