Contains 15 enclosures. Entries detail her daily pastimes, travel and social connections based at Hallmore in Hertfordshire, including trips to Glasgow and London and an operation on her husband William Tennant for fistula. Contains an account of her personal expenditure for the year, and her reading. Enclosures include:

  • 3 letters to and from her children, Ernest William Dalrymple Tennant and Margaret Edith Tennant;
  • telegram relating the death of 'Charlie';
  • 6 event programmes including Henley Regatta, Lords and Broxbourne Rowing Club Regatta;
  • hymn and newspaper clipping from the wedding of John Dalrymple Tennant to Anna Gairdner;
  • newspaper clipping of a poem by William Watson "To our Sovereign Lady" ;
  • William Tennant's medical record following his operation;
