Scope and Content

Miscellaneous collections partly by Thomas Habington and partly by Dr William Thomas (1670-1738), prebendary of Worcester (Currie and Lewis, ibid., 427). Amphlett, I (1895), 24. As follows:-

(1) Alphabet of arms, with blazons, of Worcestershire families, Abberbury-Zouch. In the hand of Dr William Thomas, fols. vi-xxiii. Laid down on fol. xxvii verso, copies, with painted shields, of arms in the windows of Hagley church, and (from Bodl. Lib., MS Ashmole 846) arms of Norton and the Earl of March;-

(2) Names of livings and patrons in the diocese of Worcester (before Gloucester was separated), lists of exemptions and dues. In the hand of Dr Thomas. fols. 1-23v. Title by Lyttleton, fol. xxviii, and note of contents of Worcester episcopal register, fol. xxix;-

(3) Survey of manors belonging to the see of Worcester but lying outside the county, partly in the hand of Thomas Habington. fols. 44-116v.
