Morris Heggie Comics collection

This collection contains materials donated by Morris Heggie from his time at DC Thomson including proofs of the comics he edited as well as other books on comics that he acquired. The majority are printed in the UK. This collection has a mixture of single issue paper comics, comics annuals, comics digests, and collected cartoons and illustrated books.

Morris Heggie was an editor at DC Thomson who also wrote (and continues to write) The Broons and Oor Wullie. Morris Heggie retired from DC Thomson in 2015.
