Black and white portrait photograph of a woman in robes of office, sitting, with a cloak, an elaborate cross on a chain around her neck. She has short, curly grey hair and spectacles, pasted onto a page of the scrapbook.

Note: the sitter is related in some way to the Conservative and Unionist Women's Franchise Association. She is either Mrs Crowle (Honorary Secretary), Countess of Selborne (President) or Duchess of Bedford (President of the Plymouth branch).
