Copy lease for 99 years from 25 Mar. 1850 for £4 16s annual rent, from (i) Anne Tennant of Pantygwydr near Swansea, widow, John Tennant of Glasgow, esq., and William Stroud of Swansea, banker, devisees in trust of the will of David Tennant of Pantygwydr, esq., deceased, and mortgagees of the land, with (ii) Rawleigh Addenbrooke Mansel of Swansea, esq., devisee in trust of the will of Calvert Richard Jones, late of Heathfield, Swansea, esq., deceased, with (iii) The Rev. Calvert Richard Jones of Heathfield, clerk, residual devisee under the will of Calvert Richard Jones, deceased, to (iv) Llewellyn Evans of Highway in the parish of Pennard, farmer. A plot of land, formerly part of a field called Swan Field late in the occupation of Charles Dicks, publican, and which contains a street [identifiable as Pell Street] intended to be made in parallel with Heathfield Street, with frontage onto the street of 34 feet 10 inches and a depth from north to south of 93 feet, with power to build two houses there.
