Correspondence, primarily letters to E A Taylor and Merle Taylor, some to Jessie M King, from a variety of correspondents (mainly MS Gen 1654/1 to /391).
Also includes press cuttings regarding artwork and activities of King and Taylor (approximately /392 to /1149);
speeches and poems by various authors (/1150 to /1170);
invitations to exhibitions, exhibition catalogues and programmes (/1185 to /1217).
Items /1521 to /1560 were found stored within Photo A56, when the photographs were cleaned and rehoused in 2015. These items include letter fragments, exhibition invitations, lesson schedules and newspaper cuttings, also sketches by the artist David Gow, an architectural plan for the Green Gate and two screen designs by the American designer E. McKnight Kauffer (see /1539)
