Mostly concerning wages of servants, agreements with builders. P.70 proves that his son William had left Bala for the academy of Mr. Rushby at Poplar House, Farndon, Cheshire (see index, i.). Cheshire at this period seems to have abounded in such academies (cp. Tarvin and Tarporley in BMSS/636, ff.35-73).
