Autograph letter signed from John Richardson to John Wylie. Westminster, 1 January 1821.
He and General [James] Montgomerie have seen Lord Melville regarding loan to [Glasgow Paisley and] Ardrossan Canal. Mr [John?] Rennie thinks new line will be opposed by Mr [Patrick?] Warner as it passes through his grounds and runs parallel to his own canal.
