Material related to Alan Parker's career in the advertising industry, firstly as a junior copywriter in c. 1964-1965 for Maxwell Clarke, then as a copywriter c. 1966-1967 for Paper Koenig Lois; and finally from 1967 for Collett Dickenson Pearce [CDP] where he started to make adverts for cinema and television from c. 1968 onward with their encouragement starting his own production company the Alan Parker Film Company in 1970. The profits from the Alan Parker Film Company adverts were used to fund Parker's early films (PKR-1)
