Administrative / Biographical History

The cause at Tabernacl began in 1877 when a Sunday School was established at Oddfellows Hall in Pontardawe. Between 1880 and 1881 the chapel was built. It is the oldest chapel building in Pontardawe.

Arranged into the following: Annual Reports, chapel history, minutes of deacons' and church officers' meetings, Sunday School and membership records, letters of recommendation, receipt and payment books, and chapel societies.
