Scope and Content

Thame National School opened in 1838 and an infants school was added in 1860. It became a senior school in 1929 and a secondary school in 1945 renamed Thame Modern Secondary School. Please see CC4/211 for other records of this school and CC4/271 for records of the Cookery Centre.
