Letter from Richard Clarke, Secretary, to Dr J.G. Hugel, Leipzig University, to inform that his pamphlet, being the preface of his dictionary, has been laid before Council. However this is not a topic of interest to Royal Asiatic Society. Also he has requested books to be transported to India but is informed that there are duty and transport costs which must be pre-paid. He is given the address of Messrs. Smith and Elder of Cornhill, booksellers and publishers, who may be able to help. (Found on page 87)
