Scope and Content

LETTERS: John Hughes, Caernarvon to Thomas Lloyd esq., Shrewsbury being repeated requests for money. John Hughes claims that property to a considerable amount beloging to him is in the hands of Lloyd. He refers to Lloyd's instructions in 1807 for Hughes to clear th offices and house called Priory, which he did and was promised settlement without delay. Hughes is desperatley in need of money and requests a remittance on account of the rents, etc. which Lloyd has received. He complains of being very badly treated and that his many letters go unanswered.
