Diary books, correspondence and audio works (the latter still to be deposited) and ephemera. The A5 diary books are produced weekly – documenting 7 days from sunday to saturday – they are handwritten & collaged with ephemera relating to those 7 days – the diary is a truthful account of ageing & coping with the decline of physical & mental abilities. Correspondences are both digital emails & handwritten letters – some carry a long history of this social activity – in the case of stefan szczelkun a habit of 40 years - & in the case of rob fairley a habit of 30 years. The digitally produced audio works - also document the events of a week – the diary books are strictly consistent - whereas the audio works are progressive experimental & fluid – they began in 2023 as audio letters varying in duration from an hour approx to 30 minutes approx – then evolved in 2024 into audio domesticus with shorter durations from 25 minutes approx to 10 minutes approx. - they are saved as wav & mpeg3 files. Archived ephemera consist of a mixture of pamphlets brochures & flyers supported by books published by friends & correspondents

the acronymic collective identity of haha – based on 4 previous identities - was born in 2020 out of a continuing self-historification process that began in dundee in 1976 – this leads to a recognition that haha is an oldman & that his documentary evidence is that of an oldage pensioner supported financially by the state – this evidence comprises diary books audio works correspondence & ephemera - all of which are held in dundee university archives.
