A collection of miscellaneous manuscripts and records deposited with Archive Services

Items appear to have been numbered as they were added to the collection. As a result of the majority of items being removed from the collection, the number system includes several gaps

This collection was created to include various items that had been given to the archives that had no obvious collection to go into. The practice of adding items to the collection was discontinued by 2001. The collection was made up of various small accessions given to the University Archives mostly between the 1970s and the early 1990s. From c 2001 much of the collection was broken up. Many items were given their own MS number or transferred to other collections. Some items were transferred to other archives and others, generally copies of items held elsewhere, where disposed of.
