The photographs are stamped with the studio mark of Dennis Moss, Cirencester. According to the "Ernest Gimson and the Arts and Crafts Movement in Leicester" website, Gimson never made a catalogue or advertised with a leaflet. Instead he had these photographs taken to be sent to potential clients, with instructions for their return.
