The 'Eh rimember that' project emerged from connections made by the University's external relations staff (Shabnam Wasim) with Boomerang Community Centre. Based on talks given by Humanities lecturer Eddie Small to the Centre's Reminiscence Group, the project developed with the aim of using archives as a means to prompt memories and elicit stories about Dundee in the later 20th century. Funding for the project was awarded to Boomerang by the Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership. Consequently, over a series of six sessions, Archive staff members Jan Merchant, Sharon Kelly and archive volunteers, Kelly Anderson and Shannon Reid introduced the group to archives and their purpose and worked with them on a number of themes.Sessions were photographed and recorded then edited for use on AV posts which will be made available in other community spaces. The completed project was launched at a celebratory tea dance in May 2019.
