A letter, 23 December 1939, from the English poet Edmund Blunden, Oxford, to Geoff Myatt, a cricketing team-mate, apparently enclosing a copy of John Brunton's Book (Cambridge, 1939) as a Christmas present.
He refers to his wife Sylva's army career and to a recent cricket match at Trent Bridge.
