Records of Port Talbot Pilotage Authority, including registers of sailings in and out, plans of the docks, accounts, correspondence and records of Port Talbot Pilotage Cutter Company; Records of Aberavon and District Nursing Association, including minute books; records of miscellaneous associations including minutes and correspondence; maps and plans of properties in the Port Talbot area; administrative records of Port Talbot Library and branch libraries, including letter book, statistics, indexes and maps; printed posters and notices.

Administrative / Biographical History

Port Talbot Library was set up by Port Talbot Borough Council with funding from the Carnegie Trust. It collected archives from local bodies and institutions. The records described here include administrative records of the library and its branches, and also some of the records it collected which were later transferred to the West Glamorgan Archive Service.
