'Right off the reel! Some angling yarns by various spinners, with sketches by one of them ... (Caersws: Vernon, Challoner & Algernon Limited, 1913)', manuscript reminiscences, with pen-and-ink drawings, written in facetious, entertaining style by 'the Colonel' [Colonel Massey Spencer, Caersws, co. Montgomery]. The names 'Vernon', 'Challoner' and 'Algernon' probably refer to Vernon Bradley, William George Cleeton and Leslie Bowen respectively, all of Caersws (see NLW MS 21950C, f. i).
