Embroidered tea cosy with flowers and butterfly motif. Possibly made at one of The Glasgow School of Art's Saturday morning classes, early 1900s.

Green, white and mauve linen with applique and embroidery on each side in white and mauve floss silk threads using satin stitch, couching and French knots in a stylised butterfly and leaf design.
