Note

The ‘Record of Events’ for Bradford notes that ‘24 persons were received to pastorship’ on 6th March 1872. Early meetings were conducted by visiting ministers from Leeds or the mother church in Manchester until 1880 when a church was opened in Landsdowne Place, Edmund Street, Horton. Independence from Leeds came in 1887 when Bradford had its own dependencies of Cleakheaton, Keighley and Huddersfield.
