Winifred Coombe Tennant (1874-1956) was an important art patron in early twentieth century Wales. Correspondence between Keith Tucker of Neath Antiquarian Society and Dietmar Höse of city of Dessau in Germany concerning gas trams in both communities and their history. (Dessau in Saxony-Anhalt had the first gas-driven trams, while the restored Neath gas tram housed at Cefn Coed Colliery Museum, Crynant, near Neath, is the last surviving example in the world.
