File of papers of Mary Davies née Havard) of Danydre, p Newport, mainly receipts for purchases of household goods by her, but including an account of expenses incurred in removing the body of her husband, Capt David Davies, from Limerick to Newport, together with receipts relating to his funeral, including a receipt for a wake, 1855-6 (3/20-39); receipts for payment of poor rate, p Newport, 1849-61 (3/88-100); an account book of profits received from various vessels, 1854-7 (3/112); an inventory of her household goods and shipping shares, with inventories of household goods belonging to John Havard, dec, Capt William Havard, dec, and Levi Havard, kept in her house, 1856 (3/113), and notices of dates of payment of tithe, p Newport, 1856-68 (3/114-26).
