Posthumous papers relating to Sims

This is a small file of papers relating to George R. Sims, generated in the late twentieth century. GRS/11/1-8 are papers associated with a revival of Sims's work The Lights o' London, which was performed by [the University of Manchester] Drama Department, 28 April-1 May 1976 at the Contact Theatre. These comprise a list of those who took part in the production, typescripts of Acts I-V, with some manuscript annotations and including a list of characters and actors. GRS/11/9-10 are photographic reproductions of images of Sims from nineteenth-century periodicals, apparently made by Dr. D. Mayer of the Drama Department, University of Manchester.
