Scope and Content

The Oxford Secondary Technical School was located in Castle Street, St Ebbes and was begun in 1934 as a day school for the School of Technology, Art, and Commerce (please see S200/5 for records of this school), but was known as the Secondary Technical School in 1949. With pressure on the site, in the early 1950s, a new location was found in Headington and the school developed into Cheney Technical School (please see S126/7 for records of this school).

Governors Minutes from 1950 onwards can be found at S126/7/A1/1.
