Scope and Content

Reviews, reports and proposals relating to electoral arrangements for the County of West Glamorgan, [1987]-[1988]; special community reviews, reports and proposals and reviews of district electoral arrangements relating to the Borough of Afan, [1975]-[1979], Borough of Lliw Valley, [1978]-[1985], Borough of Neath, [1977]-[1982], and the City of Swansea, [1975]-[1982].

Administrative / Biographical History

The Local Government Boundary Commission for Wales was established in 1974. It reviews the boundaries of local government areas in Wales and after consultation with local government, local interest groups, local branches of political parties and residents in the area concerned can propose boundary changes.
