Kidlington County Junior School was previously known as Kidlington Church of England School (see S151/1 for other records) but in 1940 the Diocese ceased to fund the school and it was taken over by the Council. In 1952 the School moved to a new site on the Bicester Road and in 1964 was renamed the Edward Feild School.
