Administrative / Biographical History

A significant collection of cine films, originally collected by Swansea City Archives, were transferred from storage at the Guildhall to the National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales, Aberystwyth, in the interests of their long-term preservation. There they were digitised and stored in accommodation suitable for the preservation of film, and digital copies were sent back on DVD. The individual films were then extracted from these, and are listed below. The arrangement and reference numbering reflects the numbers of the original films.

These films are available on the Screen and Sound Archive PCs in the Family History Centre. Advance booking is strongly advised.
