Administrative / Biographical History

In 1933 Howard Martin and Hubert Thomas established a business in Morriston. In 1948 Celtic Studios was set up at 5 Prospect Place, Swansea. It has produced a large number of windows, the majority for churches, mainly in Wales and England, but with a significant proportion in Canada, South Africa and the USA. The papers are relating to the planning and installation of windows, publications and albums of material relating to the work of Celtic Studios, and cartoons (full-size planning drawings) for windows commissioned for customers.
