The Radcliffe-on-Trent Local History Society, under the leadership of Pamela Priestland, undertook research into the history of the Pierrepont family over the course of a number of years. The research was published in 'From Domesday to Dukedom and beyond : the history of the Pierrepont family' by Pamela Priestland, in 2010. A letter in MS 396/4/1/29 confirms that the published book was received by the Society in October 2010. The Society also published a companion volume, 'Holme Pierrepont : its history from the earliest times to the 1801 census', by Beryl Cobbing, c.2012.
