Included within this group are different series comprising correspondence of the family members concerned. Although the political offices held by different family members and their range of political interests and activities have given a particular subject focus, the collection also includes long runs of family and domestic correspondence, and contains papers relating to the estates and property.
Full biographical details about the different family members and descriptions of the individual sub-groups of political and associated papers are found under their separate references. Due to the size of this collection the sections are delivered separately on the Manuscripts Online Catalogue.
