Video entitled ‘Sigurd Wathne, born 12 February 1898, Goalkeeper SK Brann, Danygraig Cemetery, Swansea, Wales’, telling the story of Sigurd Wathne, who died at Swansea Hospital in 1942 having been injured when his ship was attacked during the Second World War off north Cornwall. He was brought to Swansea Hospital, died there and was buried in Danygraig Cemetery. Before the Second World War he was goalkeeper for Norwegian Football Club SK Brann and was also capped for Norway 14 times. Narrated by ‘RCH’, edited and produced by Peter Hall. Length 00:03:27.
