Black and white reproduction of work by Jean-Louis Forain, titled Le Christ aux Outrages. 1st State (marked 1er état). There are a few short lines (scratches imprinting?) in places which do not show in the Guérin reproduction of 1st State. But perhaps need not be deemed intentionally added, or sufficient to constitute a new state
