LEASE for a year of Erryd, heretofore in tenure of Thomas Griffiths but now of Elizabeth Evans as tenant to the said John Griffiths party hereto, Tynyvedon, two messuages called penybont, and Penylan, all in the Killycwm parish, and were in 1769 purchased by Thomas Griffiths from Margaret Griffiths of Erryd widow and relict of John Griffiths gentleman, and Edward Griffiths her son: also Pentre Coon, Maesloche, Penny Beallan, Tyr Deved Porthyridd Issa and Porthyridd Usha, Kilvengolvach, and Evalvach (except the watercourse leading from Dunnant Brook near to Cromyvrance Mill through part of Glandinant lands, and a small field and garden now part of Evelvach farm and adjoining to the road from Grose to Evelvach) all in Killycwm parish, and were purchased in 1770 by Thomas Griffiths from John Lloyd, gentleman and Mary his wife: also Cwmdomant and Tyr Conol in the same parish, and were purchased in 1780 by Thomas Griffiths from the heirs and devisees of Rees Prytherch late of Cwmfran, Kiltcwm, gentleman, deceased: also Tyr Erwdommy Lia, a parcel of meadow called Werrylodd or Ian Darylwyde, all in Kilycwm parish and were purchased in 1778 by Thomas Griffiths from Rees Allen second son and devisee in fee of Mugleston Allen, gentleman, deceased; also mill upon the last mentioned tenement, all being in Killycwm parish, and were 1797 purchased by John Griffiths from Daniel Price of Abergwenlas: and Tyr Cur Craig in the same parish and purchased in 1783 by Thomas Griffiths from Thomas Jones of Aving Glaw in Llansawell parish: also all other lands in the said parishes of Killycwm and Conwilgaio, except certain lands numbered 1,2,6,8,10,11,12 at a sale by public auction at the Bear Inn Llandilo on 16 July 1812.
