Most of the papers relate to the F.R.C.'s concern for the welfare of conscientious objectors and their dependants, 1915-21, to its attempts to alleviate the plight of children in famine-stricken Central Europe, especially in Austria and Hungary, 1920-2, by giving them temporary homes in Britain, and to Anna Makara a Hungarian girl who lived with the Davies family for a while.
