Neath Town Hall. Neaths Guildhall was in the centre of Old Market Street (formerly High Street, originally Neaths principal street). The Corporation of Neath, reflecting the general feeling that the growing communitys needs would be better served by a more suitable building, commissioned the construction of a new town hall, the foundation stone of which was laid in 1820. Neath Town Hall was completed in 1821.
