Minutes of meeting of Adam Smith Bi-Centenary Committee, held in Room D, No. 1, on Monday 11 October, at 5pm. Members present, Sir William Robieson (Convenor), The Principle, Professor C.J. Fordyce, A.L. Macfie, W.G. MacLagan, D.M. Walker, S.G. Checkland (Acting secretary), T.Wilson, D.D. Raphael, D.J. Robertson and Dr R.L. Meek. Issues raised were as follows.
1) Matter Arising
a : The visit of Professor Jacob Viner, to the university, June 17th, 1963.
b : University's agreement with Clarendon Press
c : Secretary's preparation of an up to date version of the original report on the work of the committee.
2) Membership of the bi-centenary committee.
