Correspondence, memoranda and notes of meetings concerning response by Southern Railway to London Passenger Transport Board (LPTB) survey of passenger transport facilities in the London Passenger Transport Area as part of LPTB long-term planning strategy. Subjects include number of locomotives and passenger coaches in operation, number of stations closed since 1914 and train fares.
