Artwork

Original artwork relating to nine of Ursula Moray Williams' published books, one published short story and one unpublished story, as well as a selection of miscellaneous sketches by Williams. The majority of the artwork is by Williams herself, who illustrated several of her early publications, but there is also the original cover design by Faith Jaques for 'A Picnic with the Aunts', a file of sketches by Tor Morisse illustrating a story which was never published, and photocopies of Joyce L. Brisley's illustrations for 'Adventures of the Little Wooden Horse'. The artwork is in various stages of development and various degrees of completeness - some material is only a small selection in early draft form, while some consitutes the complete finished artwork for one title, in some cases having also been marked up and prepared for printing. The artwork is arranged in files relating to individual titles, with the files arranged roughly by date.
