English Spinners Ltd was a firm of textile spinners and manufacturers, incorporated in 1945. Initially at Turner Street Works, Blackburn, the company was acquired by A & S Henry & Co Ltd in 1949, and in the same year the works moved to Rockfield Mill, Blackburn. In the period c.1950-1955 the company started to specialise in the spinning of Kraft yarns and between 1955 and 1957 became a subsidiary of A& S Henry & Co (Dundee) Ltd. By 1966 the company had ceased trading.
