Underlease for 70 years from 25 Dec. 1873 for £500 annual rent and sundry royalties, between (i) Robert Valentine Leach, Philip William Flower, Richard Phllipps, Henry Albert Bartlett and Henry Nash, to (ii) The Corrwg Fechan Coal Company Ltd., of all the mines and minerals (coal, blackband, culm and ironstone are specified) under lands held by (i) by a lease granted by Philip Dunn and Jane his wife, of Painswick, Gloucestershire, dated 8 Nov. 1876, except for the Glyn Corrwg Seam. A copy of the original lease is included in the schedule, and relates to the minerals lying beneath land in the parish of Glyncorrwg that forms part of Corrwg Fechan Mountain (a total of 1142 acres).
