(266, [6] ff.) manuscript The whole of the main text is written by a single hand. Two further notes at the end are added by a second, much later hand, the name of the writer possibly being W. Hutton, F.A.S.S., Birmingham, 18[19?]. Bound in dark red leather boards with traces of metal clasps, now lost, and gilt embossed on both covers and spine with tooling and highly decorated with gilt folio edges. On the inside of the front cover a letter is attached, dated 'Vicarage January 4 1838', addressed to G. Wright Esq., and signed by W.F. Hook, who asks that this volume be added to the former's 'Library of Curiosities'. On the inside back cover there is an owner's printed bookplate bearing his coat of arms and name, 'H.C. Embleton'.
